How to change or reset your password
Instructions for resetting a forgotten or old password
Keeping your password up to date helps protect your SafeKeep account and the important information stored inside. Whether you’re already logged in or have forgotten your password, it’s easy to make a change.
If you’re already logged in
- Go to your account settings
- Select the security settings section
- Choose Change password
- Enter your current password
- Create and confirm your new password
While you’re here, you can also manage your multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings for extra protection.
If you’ve forgotten your password
- Go to the SafeKeep sign-in page
- Click Forgot password?
- Enter your account email
- Follow the link sent to your inbox
- Create and confirm your new password
Your password will be updated, and you can log in right away.
SafeKeep recommends choosing a strong password that you don’t use on other platforms for extra security.
