How to permanently delete your account

How to completely close your account and remove your data

If you no longer wish to use SafeKeep, you can choose to permanently delete your account and all data stored within it. This includes your documents, messages, memories, and legacy contact settings.

Steps to delete your account

  1. Log in to SafeKeep on the web platform
  2. Go to Account settings
  3. Open the Account details section
  4. Scroll to the bottom and click Delete account
  5. Enter your account password to confirm

Once confirmed, your account will be marked for deletion.

What happens next

  • Your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion after 30 days
  • During this time, if you log back in, your deletion request will be cancelled automatically
  • If you take no action, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted after the 30 days
  • Your legacy contacts will be removed automatically, and they will receive a notification letting them know

This action is irreversible, and your data cannot be recovered once the 30-day window passes. Only delete your account if you are sure you no longer need access to any part of your SafeKeep.
