Smart suggestions and document gaps
How SafeKeep recommends what to upload next
SafeKeep helps you stay organised by recommending documents you may want to upload, based on the kinds of important files most UK households typically keep in their filing cabinets.
These recommendations are designed to make sure nothing essential is missed — from insurance policies and identity documents to property records and end-of-life planning.
Built on a complete document framework
SafeKeep has carefully mapped out a broad list of key document types. This list was built from extensive research into what people across the UK commonly store and need access to, especially in life’s big moments, like moving house, managing healthcare, or supporting family after loss.
You’ll find these suggestions inside the Recommendations section of your dashboard, both in the app and on the web platform.
You don’t need everything
Not every document will apply to your life. That’s okay. SafeKeep suggestions are simply there to help guide your thinking and remind you of what might matter most, based on where you are in life or what’s ahead.
Documents are marked with helpful priority levels (low, medium, high) to help you decide what to upload first.
Fill in the gaps
If there’s a document that isn’t listed, you can always upload it as a custom document. SafeKeep also lets you add custom fields to any document, so you can record the exact information you need.
These tools give you complete flexibility while still supporting you with structure and smart guidance.
Designed to support life admin and legacy
The more complete your SafeKeep becomes, the more helpful it is, both for your everyday organisation and for the people you’ve chosen to support after death. Smart suggestions help make sure your digital filing cabinet holds everything your family might one day need.
It’s a gentle but powerful way to keep life admin under control and ensure nothing important gets left out.
