Managing your plan and upgrades in the app

You can now manage your SafeKeep plan directly from within the mobile app. Whether you’re checking your current plan, upgrading to a higher tier, or starting your first subscription, everything can be done quickly and securely through your device’s app store.

How to view your current plan

  1. Open the SafeKeep app on your phone.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Subscription plan to see your current plan details.

If you do not yet have a paid plan, this section will show that you’re using the Free version.

How to start or upgrade your subscription

  1. In Settings, tap Subscription plan.
  2. You’ll be taken to a page showing the available plans:
    • Basic – Simple, secure document storage.
    • Essentials – Added tools for organisation and reminders.
    • Premium – Full access to advanced features, including Legacy and message storage.
  3. Select the plan that suits you best.
  4. Follow the prompts to confirm your purchase.

All in-app payments are handled securely through the App Store (for iPhone users) or Google Play Store (for Android users).

How upgrades work

If you’re already on a paid plan and want to move to a higher tier:

  • Go to Settings → Subscription plan.
  • Choose your new plan and confirm.
  • Your upgrade will take effect right away, and the payment adjustment will be managed automatically through your app store account.

How downgrades work

If you’d like to switch to a lower plan or cancel a paid subscription, you can do this directly through your App Store or Google Play Store subscription settings.

A note about billing

Because all in-app payments are processed by Apple or Google, SafeKeep does not manage your payment details directly. Any receipts, refunds, or billing questions will appear in your app store account.
